The Business Operations and Strategy Manager provides insights to Dispatch’s Executive team and Go-To-Market leaders on the Company key strategic goals/initiatives. This role will drive forward key objectives, monitor key performance metrics and develop new business strategies by aggregating and analyzing large sets of complex data. While centralized as part of the CFO function, the Business Operations and Strategy Manager will work cross-functionally with C-Level and Sr. Leaders to design, execute and monitor projects across and within all functions of the Company including Sales, Marketing, Product, Finance, HR, Technology, Legal and Senior Leaders, proactively identifying potential opportunities/gaps, conduct in-depth analysis and deliver actionable insights/recommendations to Sr Leadership.

Initiate, Lead and Execute cross-functional initiatives

Strategic Initiatives: Lead and execute on the most important strategic initiatives for Dispatch as determined at the Executive level, and help steer the Company’s strategic focus

Speed to Value: Responsible for moving projects swiftly and decisively from initiation to driving business and financial results

Collaborating and Building relationships: Building relationships across all departments (Growth, Technology/Product, Finance, People) across all levels of the organization to accelerate delivery of positive outcomes

Process Excellence: Support the organization and leaders by designing, building and improve core processes to bring the organization to its next evolution stage

Delivering Growth: Help drive success in key initiatives driving growth, including setting targets/goals, help build sales pipelines and forecasts

Executive leadership analytical support

Monitor strategic trends: Own tracking of operational/strategic metrics and deliver regular insights to the business based on historical and market trends; raise the alarm or awareness on key strengths or core issues

Deliver Advanced Analysis: Be self-sufficient in driving detailed analysis of complex data sets and build business cases to drive effective decision-making for Executive/Sr Leaders at Dispatch

Proactively identify and act on opportunities: Champion a proactive mindset across the organization and be able to discern future trends; propose course of action to take advantage of opportunities

Lead Key Monthly/Quarterly Reviews: Take the lead and ownership of some of the strategic monthly/quarterly KPI and performance review processes, including summarizing results, keep leaders on task and own the creation of key presentations / deliverables

Provide Board Analytical Support: Support key requests of the Board into the operations of Dispatch including competitive analysis, benchmarking and sales efficiency reviews

• Minimum of 3 years experience in a mix of either management consulting, investment banking, business/sales operations, strategy, business analytics, strategic finance or similar functions
• Prior experience working cross-functionally on large initiatives
• Excellent verbal & written communication to both internal and external stakeholders
• A minimum of intermediate data querying skills (e.g. SQL) and the ability to extract, process and analyze large and complex data sets
• A natural sense of urgency & collaborative mindset
• Aptitude in transforming data into narratives/support documents that help drive toward KPIs
• Advanced knowledge of Excel/Powerpoint
• Ability to think strategically and tackle open-ended/ambiguous problems
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and succeed in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

Bonus!

• Prior experience in working with or directly driving sales operations and efficiency projects
• Expert knowledge of Excel
• Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
